Ingredients

Arrowhead Tubers
  • 4 medium-sized arrowhead tubers about 1 pound
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 0.5 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.25 cucchiaino black pepper

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Wash and scrub the arrowhead tubers thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Slice the tubers into ½-inch thick rounds or wedges for even cooking.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the sliced arrowheads, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the tubers are evenly coated.
  5. Place the seasoned arrowhead slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches).
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Check for tenderness and crispiness; if needed, continue cooking for an additional 5-10 minutes, checking every 2 minutes.
  8. Once done, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
