Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Wash and scrub the arrowhead tubers thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Slice the tubers into ½-inch thick rounds or wedges for even cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced arrowheads, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the tubers are evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned arrowhead slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches).
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Check for tenderness and crispiness; if needed, continue cooking for an additional 5-10 minutes, checking every 2 minutes.
- Once done, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
For extra crispiness, you can spray a light coat of cooking spray on the arrowhead slices before air frying. Serve immediately for the best texture.
