Ingredients

Bison Ribs
  • 2 lbs bison ribs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder optional
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce for serving

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and chili powder. Mix well.
  3. Add the bison ribs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the seasoned bison ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they are not overcrowded.
  5. Cook the bison ribs for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the ribs for even cooking.
  6. Check for doneness; the ribs should be tender and have an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C). If needed, cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  7. Remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving with barbecue sauce.
