- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Pat the bison steaks dry with paper towels.
- Rub each steak with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- Place the seasoned bison steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook at 400°F for 6 minutes.
- Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 6 minutes for medium-rare (adjust time by 1-2 minutes longer for medium).
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired and serve.
