  • 4 cattail shoots peeled and trimmed
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino Salt to taste
  • 1 cucchiaino pepper to taste
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the peeled and trimmed cattail shoots to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the seasoned cattail shoots in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Air fry at 400°F for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the cattails are golden brown and tender.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with fresh lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately.
