- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

- In another bowl, beat the egg. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat evenly with the flax seed mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush the coated chicken with olive oil for added crispiness (optional).
- Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
