  • 4 fillets salmon (5–6 ounces each), skin-on or skinless Choose fresh, high-quality salmon for best flavor
  • 1 round Boursin cheese (5.2 oz) – garlic & fine herbs flavor preferred Adds creamy flavor to the dish
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter Either works well for drizzling
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor profile
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best taste
  • 1 tsp lemon zest Adds a zesty kick
  • 0.5 tsp salt Adjust to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper Freshly ground for best flavor
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish) For garnish and color
  • Lemon wedges (for serving) Serve alongside for an extra citrus kick

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, arrange the salmon fillets. Spread the Boursin cheese evenly on top of each fillet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the salmon.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
