Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Additional
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease and flour a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Fold in the mashed bananas.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold this flour mixture into the butter mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until set.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
