- In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the apple mixture until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
