Ingredients
  

Chicken Cutlets
  • 2 chicken breasts Seasoned with garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  • 1 ml egg whisked with a splash of milk For coating the chicken
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder For seasoning the chicken
  • 1/4 tsp salt For seasoning the chicken
  • 1/4 tsp pepper For seasoning the chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For coating the chicken
  • 1/2 cup Panko For extra crunch
  • 1 ml Vegetable oil for frying Enough to cover the skillet
Garlic Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter Slightly melted for garlic butter
  • 2 Tablespoons mayo For mixing with melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced for garlic butter
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garlic butter
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan For garlic butter
Caesar Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayo Base for Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt For creaminess in dressing
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese For Caesar dressing
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice For acidity in dressing
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard For flavor boost
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste Traditional Caesar dressing ingredient
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce For umami in dressing
  • 1 clove garlic Grated for dressing
  • 1 tsp Salt & pepper To taste for dressing
Assembly
  • 4 hoagies or baguette Slice and spread with garlic butter
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce Chopped or shredded for sandwich

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken cutlets by seasoning the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Panko.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken cutlets until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. For the garlic butter, mix melted butter, mayo, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan in a bowl.
  5. For the Caesar dressing, combine mayo, sour cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, anchovy paste, Worcestershire sauce, grated garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Slice the hoagies or baguette and spread garlic butter on the inside. Toast lightly if desired.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with chicken cutlets, romaine lettuce, and a generous amount of Caesar dressing.
