Ingredients
  

Pie Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust store-bought or homemade
Filling
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If using a frozen pie crust, thaw it for 10 minutes. Place the crust in a pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  5. Pour batter into the pie crust and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and the center is set.
  6. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
