Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 120 ml melted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 120 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 240 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 30 ml milk

Method
 

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Once the cake is baked, use a fork or a skewer to poke holes all over the cake.
  3. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle evenly over the cake.
  4. Pour the melted butter and sweetened condensed milk over the top of the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  5. In a bowl, beat together the cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk, beating until the frosting is creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
