Ingredients
  

Banana Bread
  • 3 g ripe bananas, mashed Use overripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • 80 ml melted butter Melt in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  • 150 g sugar Granulated sugar works best.
  • 1 g egg, beaten Beat it slightly before adding.
  • 5 ml vanilla extract Adds a nice flavor to the bread.
  • 1 tsp baking soda Helps the bread rise.
  • 1 tsp pinch salt Balances sweetness.
  • 190 g all-purpose flour Sift for a smoother batter.
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 65 g sugar For the cinnamon swirl.
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon Mix with sugar for the swirl.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  5. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
