Chicken
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Slice into thin strips
  • 6 strips of bacon Cook until crispy and crumble
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For coating
  • 1 cup buttermilk For coating
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For seasoning chicken
  • 1 tsp onion powder For seasoning chicken
  • 1 tsp paprika For seasoning chicken
  • 1 tsp salt For seasoning chicken
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper For seasoning chicken
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs For coating
  • ml vegetable oil For frying
Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas For assembling wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce For filling
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes For filling
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For filling
  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing Spread on tortillas

Method
 

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place flour in a shallow dish. In another dish, pour the buttermilk. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third dish.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the flour, then the buttermilk, and finally the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. While chicken is frying, cook bacon in a separate pan until crispy. Crumble into pieces.
  6. Lay flour tortillas flat and spread a tablespoon of ranch dressing on each.
  7. Assemble the wrap by layering shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, fried chicken strips, and crumbled bacon.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately.
