  • 454 g lean ground beef
  • 8 flour or corn tortillas Use your preferred type of tortilla.
  • 480 ml enchilada sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 100 g shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese Choose your favorite cheese.
  • 1 medium onion, diced Diced for even cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced for flavor.
  • 1 tsp cumin Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili powder Adjust to taste.
  • Sour cream For topping.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until translucent (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic, cumin, and chili powder; sauté for another minute.
  4. Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour enchilada sauce over the tortillas and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
