  • 2 ripe avocados Sliced just before assembling to prevent browning.
  • 0.5 unit lemon Juice of half a lemon.
  • 4 slices cheese Choose cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella based on preference.
  • 1 large tomato Sliced thinly.
  • to taste Romaine or butter lettuce Use fresh leaves for crunch.
  • 8 slices hearty bread Sourdough, ciabatta, or whole grain for best results.
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise Can use low-fat if preferred.
  • 1 clove garlic Finely minced for the sauce.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let it rest.
  4. While the chicken cools, prepare the creamy sandwich sauce by mixing mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Toast the bread slices on the grill or in a toaster if desired.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and assemble the sandwiches with bread, chicken, avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and sauce.
  7. Top with another slice of bread and serve.
