Ingredients
  

For the Cake
  • 29 oz sliced peaches in heavy syrup or 4–5 cups fresh or frozen peaches
  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix your favorite brand
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter sliced into thin pats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional, for added warmth
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg for extra spice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the peaches with syrup into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the cake mix over the peaches.
  4. Place the pats of butter evenly on top of the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon, and any optional add-ins, over the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
