Ingredients
  

Cheese Ball Mixture
  • 227 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 120 ml crushed pineapple, drained
  • 60 g jalapeños, finely chopped (fresh or pickled)
  • 60 g green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 0.5 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 0.25 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 0.25 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.25 cucchiaino black pepper
Coating
  • 120 g chopped pecans for coating
  • 10 g fresh cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crushed pineapple, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  2. Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  3. Once the cheese ball is firm, remove it from the refrigerator and unwrap it. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans until fully coated.
  4. Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh cilantro for a pop of color and added flavor.
  5. Serve with an assortment of crackers, fresh vegetables, or fruit for dipping.
