Bragging is a sin, I know. But I do make good pound cake!

Ingredients
  

Pound Cake
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla or 3, or 4!

Method
 

  1. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 325°F for 2 hours.
  2. Keep an eye on it after an hour and a half. Adjust time to your oven!
