Ingredients
  

Cake Mix
  • 432 g Red Velvet Cake Mix 1 box
  • 295 ml water as listed on cake box
  • 3 pcs eggs as listed on cake box
  • 120 ml vegetable oil as listed on cake box
Frosting
  • 454 g cream cheese frosting 1 package or homemade frosting
Coating
  • 454 g white chocolate candy coating or almond bark
  • 15 pcs Red Candy Melts optional for red stripes on top

Method
 

  1. Bake the cake according to directions on the package.
  2. Let it cool completely in the freezer for about 45 minutes or overnight.
  3. Crumble the entire cake in a bowl using your hands.
  4. Stir in the frosting into the crumbled cake, about ½ cup at a time, until it holds together.
  5. Roll the mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet; chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the white chocolate candy coating and dip each ball to cover.
  7. Let the bites set up in the fridge or at room temperature.
  8. Melt red candy melts, spoon into a bag, and drizzle over the set bites.
