- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a square baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
