Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 g eggs large
  • 120 ml milk
  • 80 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Vanilla Glaze
  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk adjust for desired consistency
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
