Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Filling
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Assembly
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with 1 1/2 cups of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and shape each piece into 9x13 inch rectangles using a rolling pin.
  4. Press one piece of the dough into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish, then cover with the remaining piece of crescent dough.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cheesecake.
  7. Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the cheesecake along with the sliced almonds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown.
  9. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 squares.

Notes
