Ingredients
  

Spiced Orange-Cinnamon Cider
  • 3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 2 g oranges, thinly sliced
  • 1 g lime, thinly sliced
  • 4 g (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 8 g whole cloves
  • 1 g star anise
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method
 

  1. In a large saucepan, combine orange juice, apple cider, orange slices, lime slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise from the cider.
  5. Stir in the honey and keep the cider warm.
  6. Pour the warm Spiced Orange-Cinnamon Cider into cups and garnish with a cinnamon stick for stirring, as well as orange and lime slices.
