Cupcakes
  • 37 pieces mini cupcakes baked and cooled completely
Frosting
  • 2 tubs prepared white frosting 16 oz each
  • 1 set Americolor color gels in deep pink and red red
  • 1 piece 1 M piping tip
  • 3 pieces piping bags

Method
 

  1. Place your cupcakes onto a large cutting board. Create the heart shape with all of the cupcakes.
  2. To secure the cupcakes, place a small amount of icing under each cupcake wrapper and press onto the cutting board.
  3. Place about 2/3 of a tub of white frosting into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe onto the top cupcakes, ensuring the frosting goes to the edges.
  4. Mix deep pink color gels into 2/3 of a tub of frosting in a bowl until desired color is achieved. Pipe onto the cupcakes under the white.
  5. Tint the remaining white frosting with red red color gels in the same bowl. Pipe onto the cupcakes with a star tip.
