Valentine's Day Oreo Truffles

These delightful Oreo truffles are perfect for Valentine's Day, combining a creamy interior with a sweet candy coating.

Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 227 g brick cream cheese, (softened)
  • 36 pieces OREO Cookies, (finely crushed)
Coating
  • 340 g white candy melts
  • 340 g red candy melts
  • 1 packet Valentine's Day sprinkles

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cookie Scooper

Method
 

  1. Cover large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
  3. Using a 1.5 tbsp cookie scooper, shape cream cheese mixture into balls and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for 20-30 minutes. You can also do this step the day before and let them chill in the fridge overnight.
  5. While the oreo balls are in the freezer, melt the candy melts in two separate bowls according to package instructions.
  6. When the oreo balls are finished chilling, dip them in the white candy melts and place back on the parchment paper covered baking sheet.
  7. Drizzle with red melted candy and add sprinkles. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes
